Data Collection

Tally is a local-first personal ledger. Tally does not collect personal data for the developer.

The app does not include analytics, advertising, third-party tracking SDKs, developer-run accounts, or a developer-run backend.

Ledger Data

Your ledger entries, settings, and sync metadata are stored locally on your device.

If iCloud is available and enabled on your device, Tally uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data through your private iCloud database. This lets your own Apple devices stay in sync. The developer does not receive or operate a separate copy of your ledger data.

Exported Files

If you export your ledger as CSV, the exported file is created on your device. You choose where to save or share it.

Tracking

Tally does not track you across apps or websites.
